Microsoft mainstream support for Windows 10 has now ended.
The good news is that you will still be able to receive Security updates until 14th October 2025. This means that you will at least have a level of support until this "expiry date".
However, if you want to take advantage of our Windows Upgrades service at TDR Computers, we can help.
We will check your machine to ensure it is suitable for Windows 10. Check that your existing software is supported and that any peripherals such as printers will work.
When Windows 10 reaches end of support on 14th October, 2025, your computer will still function but Microsoft will no longer provide the following:
*Technical support for any issues *Software updates *Security updates or fixes
While you could continue to use your PC running Windows 10, without continued security updates, it will be at greater risk for viruses and malware - especially without 3rd party security software

Frequently Asked Questions
Can my PC run Windows 11?
Not all PC's and Laptops are able to run Windows 11. Microsoft currently have a minimum hardware requirement for this to work correctly. As a rule of thumb, if your machine was new when purchased from 2018 the chances are good. Please contact us and we will be able to confirm once we have asked a few questions about your PC or Laptop.
Will my existing software work with Windows 11?
This is really on a case by case basis however we haven't encountered any real problems on software which works on Windows 10 not working on Windows 11.
What are the main problems you have seen with Windows 11?
Windows 11 does appear to be very stable now and we see very little in the way of problems outside of normal Windows issues. One thing to check though is compatibility with your printer. We have seen a number of printers which will not work with Windows 11 - ask our team for help and advice.
