Typically health checks take between 1 and 3 days, dependent on how many user accounts you have and how bad the infections are.
TDR Computers recommend that you back up all your important documents and data before we service your PC. If you cannot do this then please tell us before we commence work. For a small charge your data will be securely backed up or you can purchase a backup drive in-store.

Often, the reason your machine can take so long to start is because of fragmented files on your hard drive. As part of a healthcheck, we defragment your hard drive which can help speed it back up. Alternatively, your computer may be suitable for a hard drive upgrade to a Solid State Drive or SSD which will massively improve the performance.
Is it better to have two or more Anti-Virus products?
Running two or more Anti-Virus products can slow your computer down so we always advise against this as a solution.
How long do you need my computer?
On average our turn around time for healthchecks is 1 - 3 days. We may need your computer for longer, perhaps due to requiring parts or during busy periods but we'll keep you up to date at all times.
